This is a season of coughs, colds and chills. A "cold" moans a cold in the nose or to use its medical name catarrhal rhinitis. It is always caused bv germs, although exposure is frequently blamed. What happens is that a chill lowers the resistance sufficiently for microbes to gain the upper hand. It is authoritatively stated that nine times out of ten colds are caught from people one lias been in contact with. A cough or sneeze even mere contact, is enough.
