LANDED IK HOLLAND ALLIED PARACHUTISTS CRecd. 11.10 p.m.) LONDON. April 7 An Allied airborne force was dropped during the night over a wide area 01 the north-east Netherlands. The drop made in the path of the Canadians pushing north between the Zuider Zee and the German frontier. A correspondent with the Canadians the size of the airborne force cannot be disclosed yet, but it is not believed to be on a very great scalo. Only parachutes, and not gliders, weie used. The landings came at a time when German resistance was stiffening on both flunks of the Canadian ground troops. 36-MILE ADVANCE ON ROAD TO NUREMBERG (Reed. 12.40 a.m.) LONDON, April 8 The British United Press correspondent with the Seventh Army reports that a 36-mile dash by _ the 10th ■Armoured Division resulted in the capture of Crailsheim, on the main Heil-bronn-Niirem berg motor road. Crailfiheim is 48 miles from Nuremberg and ®nly 42 miles from the headwaters of the Danube.
