EDUCATIONAL Bursaries, veterinary students. The N.Z. Government,/ tiie N.Z. .Dairy Jtsoard and tlie N.Z. Meat Producers' Board are providing Bursaries to enable Students lo commence a tour years' course in Veterinary Science at this Veterinary school, Sydney university, in 1U45. The Bursaries will provide lor: — 1. (All University lees, together with an annual allowance for books ana instruments. 2. Return transport, a available, oeiween New Zealand and Sydney annually. 3. Allowance of £3 per weeK during the academic year. The net value of the Bursary will be £440, and all amounts in excess of this will be repayable in 10 equal quarterly instalments alter graduation of the Bursar. Applicants must have passed the Medical Intermediate Examination or its equivalent in the required subjects —Zoology, Botany, Physics, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Preference given to Returned Servicemen and to candidates possessing experiencee with livestock. Bursars will be required to undertake approved practical training in New Zealand during the long vocation. Continuation of Bursaries will be contingent on satisfactory reports from the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Sydney. Bursars will require lo enter into an agreement to return to New Zealand after graduation and serve in an approved veterinary capacity for a period of live ycare. Applications (on P.S.C.
