BANK'S RESULTS The accounts of the National Bank of Australasia (or the year ended September 30 show a net profit of £200,020, compared with £282,470 last year. Gross profit at £1.018,420 is £2OOO higher. A decrease of £-18,000 in expenses is largely offset by an increase of £41,000 in taxes. The dividend, as already announced, raised from 5 to s'/ per cent, requires £202,500, and £25,000 is written off premises, leaving £151,5:12 to carry forward, against £148,105 brought in.
