CHANGE OF VENUE fP.A.) GISBORXE, Wednesday The Poverty Bay Turf Club has been granted permission by the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Racing Conference to transfer its April meeting from Gisborne to Xapier. Under present conditions it is not feasible to hold a meeting"in Gisborne, and the club has made an alternative arrangement for the use of the Xanier Park Club's course at Oreenmeadows. The dates will be April 15 and 22.

In order to cater for Gisborne owners whose horses will race at Hastings, Waipukurau or Napier, arrangements have been made for seg, transport from Gisborne to Xanier. Horses travelling by this means will miss only the first day of the Hastings fixture.
