FIRM PRICES RULING There was a steady demand in all sections at the Westfield fat stock sale yesterday. Yardings of beef and pigs were small, but the offerings of sheep and calves were better than last week. Values were firm. Alfred Buckland and Sons, Dalgety and Company, and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency report:— Boef.—Beef was again' penned in less than average numbers. Competition was keen, and values were very firm at late quotations.
