LADY GALWAY GUILD

In reporting on the activities of the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild the honorary secretary, Mrs. M. E. Svensen, stated that "during the last month 22 cases containing thousands of warm garments had been despatched to Great Britain, where the High Commissioner was authorised to divert them to the countries most needing them. Advice has now been received from overseas that some Auckland cases have arrived at Malta. Letters from England show with what deep gratitude the gifts have

been received, and must amply reward the many guild workers who have been untiring in their efforts to help. The Juild headquarters will be closed until anuary 8.
