l REPRESENTATIVE FIXTURES Members of the management committee of the Auckland Cricket Association made reference at last evening's meeting to the death of Mr. P. Broad, late chairman of the Wellington Cricket Association. They remarked upon the great work he had performed for tpe game and the most amicable relations that had existed between the two asiociations, due to a great extent to his wise leadership. A letter was received from the Wellington Association giving details of the representative programme agreed to by the delegates of the major associations. The decision that the travelling expenses be a charge against the matches was endorsed. The suggestion that players be asked to pay for their own iccommodation was discussed at great length •nd the general tenor of the meeting was that this was not conducive to producing the best team available. It was res_olved to withhold any decision regarding playing Canterbury at Christchurch pending receipt of further advice from the Canterbury Association.
