OUTDOOR SPORTS LEAGUE FOOTBALL CARLAW PARK—SATURDAY Another Thriller No. l, 3 P.M.: CITY v. RICHMOND On a heavy ground last Saturday patrons were treated to a grand game. Rising to great heights, both sides gave fine exhibitions of brilliant back and forward play, and although defeated (J—2, Richmond were every bit as good as their conquerors, Saturday's game should be equally thrilling. City, only two championship points behind Manukau, will be all out to retain that position. They defeated Richmond 15 —12 in the first round, but judged on Richmond's great effort last Saturday, their task will be more difficult this time. Saturday's game may be summed up thus: City are determined to retain their championship position, and are confident they will repeat their first round success. Richmond contend that with reasonable luck they would not, have lost one game to date, and say they will win this one. There will be "thrills-a-plenty" before the final bell. No. 1, 1.30 P.M.: OTAHUHU V. manukau No. 2, 1.30 P.M.: MT. ALBERT v. NORTH SHORE No. 2, 3 P.M.; MARIST 0.8. v. PONSONBY
