Arkinstali was educated at the Auckland Grammar School and Auckland University College, where he gained his Bachelor of Science degree. tion was recently formed to provide the same kind of education to sufferers from the complaint. At a well-attended meeting of the Auckland branch ofthis association, held at the Overseas Club, Dr. Elaine Gurr delivered a lecture covering problems of particular importance to diabetics. MARRIED IN SYDNEY The marriage of Miss Marjorie Wingate, daughter of Mrs. G. G. Wingate and the late Mr. J. E. Wingate, of Pohangina Valley, to Mr. Wilfred Leslie Stapleton, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. VICTORIA LEAGUE TEA Members of the Victoria League entertained the president of the Wanganui branch. Mrs. Norman Bain, at morning tea last week at the league rooms. The guest of honour was received by the president of the Auckland branch, Mrs. J. B. Macfarlane, and the chairwoman, Mrs. L. S. Rickerby.
