TERM OF FIVE YEARS SYDNEY, Dec. 19 Armed with a pistol and a loaded stick, John Hampton Lappin, aged 23, and Adrian Alexander Dean, 26, assaulted Jonathan Brand, stationmaster at Yagoona, and robbed him of £6. At Sydney Quarter Sessions, Judge Studdet sent Lappin and Dean to prison for five years. Both the accused, it was alleged by the Crown, had beep concerned in an earlier and unsuccessful attempt to rob the Chester Hill railway station.
