ADDINGTON EVENTS NEW ZEALAND CUP FIELD BY ABAYDOS Good acceptances have been received for the first day of the New Zealand Trotting Club's Spring Meeting at Addington on Saturday. With a field of 112l l 2 high-grade pacers, a keen contest i.s expected in the New Zealand Trotting Cup. .Josedale Grattan, who won last year in the record time of 4.15, is in good form, having derived a lot of benefit from the two races at Epsom last month. His task from 30, yds behind is not easy, but, should the. race be run at a solid pace, Josedale Grattan will be running on at the end. His most dangerous rivals may be Loyal Key and Haughty, two greatly improved pacers.
