THEFT OF TYRES
HAMILTON FIRM'S LOSS REPLACEMENT DIFFICULTY (O.O.) HAMILTON, Wednesday Intruders entered the showroom of R. B. Seabrook, Limited, in Victoria Street, Hamilton, last night, and stole 19 motor-car tyres, valued at over £IOO. The tyres were of popular size and are most difficult to replace. Entry was made through a window at the back. Some of the tyres were taken from the front window display. It is considered that a truck must hare been run up to the back entrance to remove the load. The tyres represented a third of the firm's stocks. The theft was a particularly audacious one as the whole i of the shop may be seen from "Victoria Street. liquor and cash stolen STOCK IN HOTEL BAR (0.c.) HAMILTON, Wednesday Beer, whisky, brandy and money of j a total'value of £l2 were stolen from a j private bar in the \\ aikato Hotel, j Hamilton East, yesterday.
