GOOD VEGETABLE SUPPLY Several lines of vegetables auctioned at the City Markets yesterday were in heavy supply and-sold at appreciably lower prices. Apples were again plentiful, with most lines cringing Government fixed rates. No Te Kauwhata grapes were available, but hothouse grapes brought higher prices. LEWIS EADY PROFIT The accounts of Lewis Eady, Ltd. 'or the vear ended March 31, show a net profit of £6BIO, compared with £7513 last year and £7"19 in HMO. The directors recommend a fln."i dividend on ordinary shares of 4 per cent, making 8 per cent for the year, unchanged. This will require ancl the 6 per cent preference dividend will absorb £1460. DIVIDENDS PROPOSED The directors of Donaghy's Rope and Twine Company recommend a final dividend for the vear ended March 31 of la 3d a share on 8(>000 £1 shares of the old issue and 6d a share on 39,000 £1 sliareH of new jssue.
