KING AS ADMIRAL

SEA CADET CORPS LONDON, Jan. 30 The King has accepted the position of Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps. Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey is to he Commodore of the corps in England and Wales, and the Duke of Montrose Commodore in Scotland. Mr. Alexander, First Lord of the Admiralty, addressing a battalion of * the corps at Wellington Barracks, said •" that though the Admiralty was taking over the control of the Sea Cadet Corps, the administration would remain in the hands of the Navy League and * . other associations.
