PUKEMIRO MINE IDLE

LATE STOP-WORK MEETING (0.C.) HUNTLY. Monday As the result of a stop-work meeting being held, the Pukemiro mine has been idle to-day. The meeting concluded after 9 a.m. Mr. P. Hall, secretary of the Northern Miners' Union, declined to make any comment, but considered the mine would he working to-morrow. All the other mines are working as usual, including Renown, which was idle on Friday through a stop-work meeting being concluded too late for work to commence.
