Sir,—lt has been related that somewhere a Jewish Rabbi rose from his seat in a car to offer it to a lady; into it a man slipped. The Rabbi looked at him wrathfully and the man 6aid: "Why do you look at me in that wayP You look as if you wanted to eat me." The Rabbi responded: "No, I could not do that. I am a Jew J" Z.
