PETROL CONCESSION
HORSEFLOAT OWNERS [BY TELEGRAPH PRKSS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS. Saturday The Government has agreed to allow horsefloat owners to operate a restricted schedule so that vehicles might be kept in good running order for use in an emergency. This was announced to-dav by Mr. G. W. B McCormick, president of the New Zealand Horsenoat Ope rat ors' Associat ion. The decision was reached following representations by the association, which pointed out to the Government the difficulties which threatened the livelihood of the operators as a result ol the prohibition on the use of petrol for horsefloats.
