ELDERLY MAN HURT
Concussion and abrasions were suffered by Mr. Charles Tennyson Reade, married, aged 79, of 251 Jervois Road, Heme Bay, when he was knocked down by a motor-van in West End Road at Cox's Creek yesterday morning. Mr. Readc rolled down a bank and into the water, but the tide was low. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, and his condition last night was fairly serious.
