DESTRUCTION OF RABBITS
(0.C.) TUAKATT, Monday Although the onus is on farmers to destroy rabbits on thair properties, the Te Akau Rabbit Board nas decided to employ a third rabbiter in order to , assist ratepayers. The chairman, Mr. E. H. Nolan, reforred to the shortage of labour on farms, with the result that owners were kept very busy to get through their work, adding that on some small dairy farms it was slavery.
