ME. HOLLAND'S ACTION GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS association! WELLINGTON. Tuesday The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, said he will be pleased to have the memorandum of the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. S. 6. Holland, regarding the country's war effort. His catalogue of defects might be illuminating and helpful, particularly if, as no doubt it would be, accompanied with well-thought-ont suggestions for remedies and improvements. Mr. Fraser said he could assure Mr. Holland, as was customary, that the War Cabinet and the Government would gladly examine any reasonable proposals, and would readily accept any practical ones. He propoad to invite Mr. Holland to a consultation and discussion with the War Cabinet in regard to any representations he might make. Mr. Holland stated on Monday that he was preparing a comprehensive memorandum for the Prime Minister setting out in detail the causes of growing public discontent and dissatisfaction that had been expressed to him in various centres during a tour of New Zealand to observe war activities. Mr. Holland's tour embraced many military, naval and air training centres, and factories engaged on war production.
