\ BLACKOUT RESPONSIBILITY (0.C.) KAWAKAWA, Tuesday TJio question of responsibility for the blacking out of school buildings to bo used in.an emergency was raised at the Bay of Islands Hospital Board meeting, when a letter was received from tl:o Kawakawa Emergency Precautions Service Organisation requesting the board to blackout the Kawakawa school. Members felt that it was not the board's responsibility to do the necessary work until the building was used as an emergency hospital. At present the school was only reserved as a possible hospital. It was decided to forward the letter to the Department of Health to obtain advice.
