PIG PRICES HARDEN Dalgety and Company report on the Prank Ton stock sale yesterday as follows: There was a good yarding of all classes of sheep, which met a market on a par with recent rates Prime rat wethers made 24s 3d to 25s Gd; medium, 21s i)d to 23s 6d; prime medium black-face ewes, 17s (id to ISs (id; medium fat ewes, 9s 3d to 10s Gd; prime fat lambs, 22s 3d to 24s 3d; medium, ISs 6d to 21s 9d. There was a light yarding of all classes of cattle, which sold at prices ruling. Medium fat bullocks, £lO 1.7s Gd to £ll 12s Gd; medium cows, £8 5s to £9 Ss Gd; medium heavy Jersey cows, £5 15s to £t> 10s; heavy honors, £3 12s Gd to £4; medium, £2 17s to £3 9s; light, 30s to £2 10s. A heavy yarding of fat pigs came forward and a good even sale resulted, with prices being very firm to slightly in advance of last week's quotations. Baconers in one instance advanced to £1 3s. Stores and weaners were very firm and showed a decided increase on last week's quotations. Prime heavy baconers made £4 to £4 2s; heavy baconers, £3 16s to £4; medium, £3 12s to £3 16s; light, £3 5s to £3 J 2s; prinje heavy porkers, £2 ISs to £3 os- medium, £2 10s to £2 18s; light. £2 to £2 l()s; unfinished, 35s to £2; large store pigs, 30s to 395; medium, 25s to 30s; small, ISs to 255; slips, 12s to 18s; weaners. 4s to 10s; choppers, 30s to £2 10s. Heavy prime bullocks were quoted by G. W. Verroe and Company at £l4 to £ls; prime medium weights, £l3 to £l3 17s Gd; prime light, £ll 10s to £l2 1.0s; heavy boners, £4 15s to £5 ss; medium, £4 to £4 12s Gd; light, £2 15s to £3 10s.
