RESCUE FROM RIVER
[BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WESTPORT, Friday The courageous rescue of a railway workman who fell into the Buller River off the wharf this afternoon and suffered injuries to the head ar. ! body was effected by Mr. W. Honey, a carpenter. He dived 30ft. into the river, fully clothed, and prevented the injured man from sinking until further help was obtained.
