BEGINNING THE DAY
(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations.) Text. —Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart he acceptable .in thy sight, 0 Lord my strength 'and my redeemer. Psalm xix. 14.
Prayer.—Eternal Father, we come to Theo through the name of Jesus. We thank Theo that Thou hast made this way for us to approach Thee. May we come to Thee at all times knowing that Thou hast bid us come. We thank Thee wo are Thy people and the sheep of Thy pasture. Guide us continually, and tench us to do Thy will. We again bring before Thee the needs of our fighting Forces. We pray for all in the service of King and country, and especially those from—homes known to us, that tliev may also be good soldiers of Jesus Christ. We ask too for their home folk that they may ho sustained and strengthened in heart. Amen.
