SUBURBAN GAMES

PLAY AT THE DOMAIN SIXTH SERIES DECIDED DRAW IN THREE MATCHES Conditions were ideal at the Domain on Saturday, when the sixth series of matches in the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association's senior championship was played. The scoring was generally slow, and in three of the four matches drawn games resulted. The teams to bat second were left with no opportunity but to play out time, and the cricket larked its usual brightness, In the principal game, R.V. and Tui drew, but an earlier declaration may have given R.V. a win. The Royal Air Force batted until after four o'clock against Manukau, the leading team, which had to fight hard to avoid defeat. Diiworth Old Boys gained a . first innings victory against Army Service, good bowling by L. Partridge, who performed the hat-trick, being a feature of the game. Brixton played a drawn game with Green Lane. The highest individual score was made by X. Goldsworthy (a.V.), 68. Othersto bat well were:—K. Parkin (Air Force), 56; C.
