' Prior to thgir departure for Taibapc, Mr. and'' Mrs. T. B. Lendrum *'ere entertained by the officers of the Chief Post Office, "Hamilton. Women employees and the "wives of the offices "Were present. Mr. Lendrum, who has been postal inquiry officer at Hamilton for many years, has been appointed postmaster at Taihape, and leaves to take up his new post to-morrow. The guests were the recipients of several pieces of silverware.
