RED ARMY TROOPS ALL PARTS OF FRONT MUCH BOOTY CAPTURED (Eecd. 12.15 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 2 The news from the eastern front indicates that, on all sectors, the Russians are offering even stronger resistance, says the British official wireless. Such resistance is outstandingly successful in the Rostov sector. As a result of the rout of von Kleist's army the Russians have captured at least 188 tanks, 210 field guns, 306 machine-guns, 178 mortars, 4050 rifles, 871 motor vehicles and a large amount . of other material. In addition 102 enemy aeroplanes have been destroyed. Much booty has also been captured by Soviet units on the Moscow front. One Soviet unit on the central front in the past eight days occupied 15 villages and captured tanks and other material. Successes have also been gained by the Russians on the north-west front, according to the Moscow radio, which states that on December 1, after three days' fierce fighting in the region of Lake S, Soviet troops reoccupied their former positions. Complete figures, Bays a Moscow report, show tha;t Soviet troops from November 26 to 28 annihilated about 2500 German officers and men on the north-west front, destroyed guns and ammunition dumps and silenced a number of batteries. From take-off to touchdown the flight took eight hours and 23 minutes. The aircraft was piloted by Captain O. P. Kones, formerly well known to passengers in Imperial Airwaysf and British Overseas Airways machines.
