THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE BUSINESS AT LATE RATES There were few price changes in dealing on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Business was moderate, with both New Zealand and Australian issues changing hands at late rates. In the insurance section two parcels of New Zealands were released at 725, with more available at that price, but offers were lifted for South British and substantially so for Standards. One of the few marked changes in the industrial sections was an advance of Is 6d in offers for New Zealand Drugs, but this still failed to attract a seller. Ino Zinc Corporation, Limited, London and Melbourne, has declared a dividend of 2s a share, English currency, being the second half of the fixed cumulative dividend on preference shares, for the year ending December 31, 3041, and also an interim participating dividend of, Is a share on both preference and ordinary shares. The participating dividend compares with an interim payment of Is 3d a share in 1940. Both dividends are less British income tax at the rate of 5s 4d in the pound.
