VI-MAX XMAS PUDDING VI-MAX XMAS CAKE 3oz VI-MAX. , lh hllHp _ is susjsss m ° <UBht browo) - 4oz currants, * ,b Vll MAX, 4oz sultanas, * lb white flour or flna wholemeal. 4oz seeded raisins, lib seeded raising, 4oz brown sugar, ilb sultanas, J teaspoon nutmeg, Jib currants, 1 teaspoon spice, jib almonds, 1 desspn. treacle, cherries, 2oz almonds, j lb pe el. i°teaspo'on salt, ? tablespoon spice, 1 level teaspoon soda, 1 desspn. cinnamon, 4 tablespoons milk, i teaspoon nutmeg, 2 eggs. Grated rind of 1 lemon, Method : Prepare fruit and mix with 2 tablespoons wine or brandy. all dry ingredients. Mix with beaten Method : Cream butter and sugar, eggs in which 1 lie treacle has been add beaten eggs alternately with dissolved. Add soda dissolved in sifted flour and VI-MAX. Add premllk and put into a greased basin. pared fruit and lastly brandy. Beat Cover and steam at least 4 hours well; bake In greased tin for 3J hours. Mrs A.W.H. writes : "We are big eaters of VI-MAX and I find it better than irmy cereal I have ever had. 1 first used It when the plum pudding and Christmas Cake recipes were tn the paper.
