Exams. Loom Ahead
DEAR boys and girls,— I EXPECT you were all delighted to see the announcement of the Christmas Competitions on the page last week. Of course, it's a pity we are not able to have more space, but even so I'm sure you will all help to make tin. Christmas section the best possible. Especially do we want small, bright sketches to decorate the page We have jnany excellent little artists in our circles and I'm sure they will come to light w *th their good work. So, girls and boys, when those old exams, permit do ,ft to work with your pen and ink, because time flies so swiftly that Christmas w i'l be u -on us b»fore we know where we are. And talking of exams., the very best of luck to all readers who are takine them at this time. The end of the school year is always a very busy and tryine time unt ; l the exams, are over, but really, 3 8 if we've worked well during the year, we shouldn't have to worry so very much about the final testing, should we?
