CONFERENCE RESOLUTIONS The general principles of rehabilitation of returned men were among subjects discussed yesterday at the conference of the Dominion Reconstruction Movement in the Y.W.C.A, Hall, It was resolved that all matters of rehabilitation should be based on higher living standards than ever previously contemplated. An address on economics, industry and commerce was given in the morning by Mr. G. Clark, of Wellington. At its conclusion, the conference approved resolutions stating that any reconstruction in commerce and industry must be based on the laws of God and on Christian principles. National efficiency and social progress were the subjects of addresses in the afternoon by the Rev, H. Banks, vicar-general of the Liberal Catholic Church, and Mr. R. J. Peter. The con* ference passed a resolution that social progress depended on providing all with complete economic security, individual liberty _ and opportunity for cultural and spiritual development. The chief speakers last night, when the subjects were international relationships and world reconstruction, were Mr. B. Dunningham, director of the conference, Mrs. A. Craig, Mrs. M, Irwin and Miss E. Andrews. Ten points for world reconstruction were approved by the conference. The conference will conclude tomorrow.
