VISIT TO DUNEDIN (0.c.) DUN ED IX, Thursday The Prime Minister, the lit. Hon. P. Fraser, to-day paid a visit to the shipbuilding yards at Port Chalmers, where minesweepers are being constructed? After addressing a Chamber of Com-, merce luncheon, he inspected a fortress area, as well as the albatross sane- , tuarv, and on the return journey to the city he met Maori residents at the new church at Otakou. Mr. Fraser will leave for thl north to-morrow morning, returning to Wellington after a visit to the West Coast in company with the Minister of Defence, the -Hon. F. Jones. •_
