"VVHAKATANE, Thursday The change in the standard of living in New Zealand since the Labour Government's election was discussed by the official Labour candidate for the Bay of Plenty seat, Mr. C. Mills, at a meeting at Wliakatane to-night. Mr. Mills, who was supported by tho Minister of Health, the Hon. A. H. Nordmever, addressed a large audience. He and Mr. Nordmever met a barrage of questions. Mr. Nordmever said farmers bad been promised a guaranteed price for their products and that would be forthcoming, war or no war.
