TROOPS' HOSTEL
PROVISION AT ALEXANDRIA A well-appointed hostel for New Zealand troops on leave in Alexandria has been established from funds supplied by tha National Patriotic Funds Board, according to the N.Z.E.F. Times. The hostel will provide accommodation for a limited number of men. The surroundings are pleasant and, restful, the furnishings most comfortable, and the tariff is reasonable, bed and breakfast being about 2s 6d. The meals are excellent, hot showers are available, and morning and afternoon teas may be procured. The hostel is under the supervision of the Y.M.C.A.
