BEGINNING THE DAY
(Supplied by tho Council of Christian Congregations) Text. —Give ye them to eat. Mark, 6, 37. Thought.—How many hungry souls there are to-day needing to bo fed with the bread of life, Jesus alone can satisfy. Prayer.—We thank Thee, Lord, for the gracious words which fell from Thy lips, for they are life. May we know more of their deeper meaning. Give us a greater desire for spiritual things, so that we may drink deep out of the wells of salvation, and find the satisfying portion that will keep us in the day of trial. Amen.
