CAIRO FORCES CLUB

COMMON ROOM ESTABLISHED (N.Z.E.F. Official News Service) CAIRO, Oct. 25 A common room has now been established at the New Zealand Forces' Club in Cairo. It will soon be ready for use as a place where all ranks can forgather. Thus friends within the Expeditionary Force, no matter what difference there may be in rank, will be able to meet and chat over a cup of tea in an informal manner and in pleasant surroundings. Occupying the space originally taken by a flat of three large rooms, the common room has been furnished with modern low tables and straight cane chairs. The prevailing colour is an attractive pink shade which tones effectively with the deep red of the hanging curtains.
