DEATH IN ENGLAND

FORESTRY UNIT CORPORAL (0.C.) MATAMATA, Wednesday Cabled advice has been received of the death in England of Corporal Basil Marshall-Inman, aged 30, who was serving with the New Zealand Forestry Unit and who was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Marshall-Inman, of Tirau. Prior to enlisting Corporal MarshallInman was on the staff of the Bartholomew Timber Company, Limited, Te Whetu, near Putaruru. He was a popular athlete in the Matamata and Putaruru districts. Three brothers are on active service.
