ARMY TRANSFERS

APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED Northern Military District appointments include that of Captain G. P. Leane, M.C., adjutant of the school of instruction, Narrow Neck, to the Infantry Training Battalion at Papakura. He is being succeeded by Lieutenant H. L. Thomson, from Ngaruavvahia camp. Lieutenant and Quartermaster G. H. Broom, adjutant of the 'lst Field Ambulance, becomes officer in charge of the Northern Advanced Medical Depot, and be is succeeded by SecondLieutenant C. M. Cole. Lieutenant P. C. Holway, adjutant of the 9th Light Armoured' Fighting Vehicle Regiment, has been transferred to the instructional staff of the district school and has been succeeded by Second-Lieuten-ant A. J. Mackinnon. Lieutenant J. A. Clark has been appointed to the temporary staff as mechanical transport officer, Paeroa area, and Lieutenant H. E. Wallace becomes assistant officer at the northern district and ordnance workshops.
