STILL standing, just below the corner of Albert and Wyndham Streets, is the little one-roomed shop in which, with a stock of "high-class millinery and mantles," the Misses Milne commenced business in 1866. From that very modest beginning the business has grown with the city and millions have passed through the doors of the five different M & C establishments. To the many who, as customers or suppliers, have reposed their confidence in us, we express our sincere appreciation and on this, the occasion of our seventy-fifth Anniversary, pledge ourselves to merit in increasing measure the goodwill which has been accorded so generously.
