TEMPERANCE UNION
Reports from 23 departments were presented at the final day of the 18th annual Auckland district convention of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, which was held yesterday in the Pitt. Street school hall. Mrs. H. Kasper presided. It was stated that 72 new members had been enrolled during the year. The fund opened recently by the union for the establishment of a hostel for Maori girls has reached £lO5.
