B. Allison, who was taken prisoner on Crete on .June 1, is a prisoner ol war in Germany. Artificer Allison, who is well known as an Auckland athlete and was president ol tho j Teachers' Training College Students j Association, enlisted early in the war | and went overseas with the _ first echelon. He was reported as missing early in June, but subsequent advice shows that he was taken prisoner on June 1 with a number of other artillerymen. He is a son ol Mr. and .Mrs. J). A. B. Allison, of One Tree Hill, and is 26 years of age.
