VERDICT SET ASIDE

AWARD IN THEATRE CASE (Reed. 10.15 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 29 The State Full Court to-day set aside the verdict of the Supreme Court jury for £7OOO damages awarded against Stuart F. Doyle, picture theatre director, and others ; described as the Bligh Street Holdings Proprietary, Limited. The damages were originally awarded a former New Zealander, Thomas Alexander O'Brien, who had alleged conspiracy in regard to his ejection from the lease and control of the Savoy Thoatres in Sydney and Melbourne. The Court to-day awarded judgment in favour of defendants.
