TWO BICYCLES TRACED One of the three boys who were missing from their homes in Auckland last week has been found on a farm in the Matnmata district, where ho had gone seeking employment. Ho is Sylvester Raymond Edwards, aged 15, son of Mr. R. R. Edwards, of 23 Ban norm a n Road, Morningside.
Having apparently seen a farming position advertised, the boy went to Matamata by train on September 5. A guard to whom he spoke subsequently recognised his description published in the Hekald and he was later traced to a farm. The police notified his parents, who went to Matamata and brought him back to Auckland. The bicycles of the other two boys, who have been missing since September 2, were discovered yesterday at the Hamilton railway station, where they had been checked in about a fortnight ago. The two boys, Give George Cooper, of 1 Stokes Road, Mount Eden, and John Moore McCombe, of 10 Eglinton Avenue, were remembered by a porter at the station. The boys told him that it would probably be some time before they called to collect the bicycles. It is believed that both lads probably are working on a farm in the Waikato district.
