NEW CHURCH

1 he laying of the foundation-stone of the new Congregational Church, which is in the course of erection at the corner ol Cadnian Avenue and Waiohna Road, One Tree liill, will be performed at three o'clock to-morrow afternoon by the Rev. C. Canned Hoskin, chairman of the Congregational Union of New Zealand. Commenced about three weeks ago. the church is expected to be completed by the middle of October. The building will cost £1260, and already donations amounting to £'llls have been received. The land was purchased bv donations.
