FUTURE OF KINDERGARTEN (O.C.J GIS BORNE. Thursday "There is a lot in it," was the reply of Mr E. N~ Fitzgerald, owner of Kindergarten, in reference to a story from Sydney that £2.7(100 had been offered for the horse. "Kindergarten is not sold yet. but he will be sold I might sell the lot." he added. Mr. Fitzgerald admitted that there was great satisfaction in owning a champion like Kindergarten hut there was a good deal of worry, too. Following his own judgment. Mr. Fitzgerald has bred his own runners, and Kindergarten represents the triumph of his turf career, hut his interest in other members of his racing team has not lessened. Mr Fitzgerald's friends laughed at the report that Kindergarten was being sold even although Hie price mentioned exceeded any previously reached in Australia or New Zealand However, the owner did not treat the matter a c a joke, fie said that the horse wou.'d he sold, although not immediately
