MUSEUM EXHIBITION

"Under the system of exchange displays made possible through a grant by the Carnegie Corporation, the Auckland Museum has received from the Napier Museum a most interesting demonstration of home dyes from New Zealand plants," stated a report presented by the director, Mr. G. Archey, at a meeting of the council of the Auckland Institute and Museum yesterday. The Auckland Museum's contribution to the present exchange was a case illustrating the evolution of birds. The anchor of His Majesty's ship Bounty was also presented.
