ACCIDENT ON WEST COAST [BY TELEGRAPH —PREBS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH. Sunday The death occurred in the Grey Hospital this afternoon of Mr. Charles Jones, aged 35, the railway employee who was severely injured in the car accident at South Beach last Monday morning when the former All Black footballer, Mr. Jack Stool, was killed. Mr. Jones, whose right foot was amputated after the accident, underwent a second operation this morning, but succumbed shortly after his return to the hospital ward, He was a former Duller Rugby representative. His parents reside in Westport.
