OBITUARY

MRS. FLORENCE L. CORRIGAN Cabled advice was received in Auckland on Saturday of the accidental death of Mrs. Florence Lucy Corrigan in Kenya Colony, Africa. Mrs. Corrigan was the mother of Mr. L. P. Leary, ol Auckland, and the widow of Mr. Richard Leary, of Palmerston North, where she lived for many years. She had a family of four sons, only one of whom is living. One of them, Mr. Ernest Richard Leary, was killed on the Somme in 1916. After her marriage to Mr. D. 11. L. Corrigan, Mrs. Corrigan lived for many years in Auckland and later at Tauranga. Her death occurred while she was visiting Mrs. Lascelles Learv Verbi, her daughter by the second marriage. No details of how Mrs. Corrigan met her death have been received. She is survived by her husband, one son and one daughter.
