CEREMONY AT ST. DAVID'S

LA MONT—COLE The wedding took place at St. David's Presbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon of Miss Constance Beryl Cole, onlv daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Cole, of Morningside, and Mr. Robert Thomas Lament, eldest son of the Rev. R. M. Larnont and Mrs. Lament, of Athol. Southland. The Rev. W. Bower Black officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of lustrous satin fashioned with a ruched bodice and a long fan-shaped train inset with godets of Chantilly lace. Her veil of hand-appliqued lace and tulle fell from a coronet of tulle and orange blossom. She carried a sheaf of Dutch azaleas and carnations. The bridesmaids, Miss J. Barnes and Miss I. Mitchell, cousins of the bride, wore Medici frocks of pastel pink and

pastel green respectively, with matching coronets. They carried bouquets of daffodils and Iceland poppies. The bridegroom was attended by the bride's brother, Mr. N. Cole, as best man, and by Mr. P. A. Nielson as groomsman. A reception, followed by dancing, was held at Cooke s tearooms, Queen Street. The bridal couple left later for Southland, the bride travelling in a powder blue revillon crepe frock with black accessories.
